What can I expect during laser treatments?

Avoid direct sunlight in the 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment. Before coming to your appointment on the day of treatment, don’t apply any lotion or facial products to your skin. 

You wear protective glasses to keep your eyes safe during the treatment. Dr. Balaraman adjusts the intensity of the laser so that it’s appropriate for your treatment and skin type. You will feel warmth and a sensation like a rubber band is snapping against your skin as the laser glides across treatment areas.

Expect to have some mild discomfort, swelling, and redness in the treatment areas. Dr. Balaraman provides you with complete aftercare instructions, so you heal quickly.
